In the background is the hammock, from which the nearest trees are to be cut to allow the road to be moved to its original placement immediately to the south.

On the left is Old-field Plot E, to be started in 2020.

On the right is Old-field Plot D, a 10-year-rotation plot started in 1997 and now being prepared for its re-start later in 2007.

Just south of Plots E and D, the road (now "Main Trail") has been realigned to the south to coincide with the route of an earlier road.
