NATL trails and facilities for museum tours
WISH LIST
- A covered 30-foot by 30-foot pole barn type with 6–8 picnic tables underneath. Perhaps concrete pad underneath the roof? This should be located adjacent to the parking area with a wall or planting that acts as a visual and sound barrier. The wall could actually include a small storage unit and have electrical and water available.
- An amphitheater of benches to sit 65–70, facing south, near the entrance to the trails.
- Two short loop trails and linking to longer trail area.
- Boardwalk across or into the pond area. Perhaps with benches on the boardwalk or near the SEEP area.
- Signage: Entrance sign near amphitheater, with information and routed map of primary trails and fire lanes. Informational and direction signs at strategic points along trails. ie: management plans, multi-usage.
- Plantings of wax myrtle along chain link fence to act as visual and sound barrier.
- Trails and gathering areas to have wood chips to reduce plant growth on trails, allow wheelchair accessibility and define trail area.

From curb around long trail – 3278 feet
Orange short loop (property line) – 655 feet
Rust color loop – 1860 feet
Red loop – 1880 feet
