Volunteering in NATL

Since its establishment in the 90s, a large community effort has gone into the restoration and maintenance of NATL. Volunteers have donated countless hours removing trash and invasive species, reintroducing native species through planned plantings, and helping conduct prescribed burns. Without its volunteers, NATL wouldn't be the beautiful conservation area it is today!

  • Super Volunteers

In addition to participating in volunteer events, students also have the opportunity to volunteer on a regular basis if they wish. These students, referred to as "super volunteers" complete training with NATL's land manager and complete regular maintenance tasks on their own schedules. If you're interested in becoming a super volunteer, please reach out to natl@ufl.edu.

Super volunteers for Summer/Fall of 2025 are:

    • Ariatna Illescas
    • Charlie Meagher
